US airport noise complaints come from a handful of people who risk making air travel costlier and more polluting for everyone

Rules made in response to airport noise complaints can prevent improvements in airport infrastructure, increase the cost of flights, and increase the carbon footprint of air travel. But it's really a small number of cranky people making a *huge* number of complaints.
